Glory (2011)


Glory is the seventeenth studio album by Christian singer -songwriter Michael W. Smith, released on November 22, 2011 by Reunion Records. It is Smith's second all-instrumental album after his 2000 album Freedom. The album was recorded with a 65-piece orchestra at AIR Studios in London, England and Wildwood Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The music was arranged by Smith's longtime friend David Hamilton, and produced by Smith and Hamilton. The album peaked at number seven on the Top Christian Albums and number 121 on the Top 200 Albums charts in Billboard magazine. In 2013, Smith won a Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year for Glory at the 44th GMA Dove Awards.
