Kim Boyce is the debut studio album by Christian music singer - songwriter Kim Boyce. Released in the fall of 1986 by Myrrh Records, the album combines dance pop with ballads. After being a featured vocalist on Carman's album The Champion on the track "Fear Not, My Child," Boyce landed a singing contract on Word's Myrrh label. The album contains a slightly rewritten cover of English singer - songwriter Alison Moyet's 1984 U.K. Top 10 hit "Love Resurrection" as well as Christian hit radio songs "Darkened Hearts" and "Here." Kim Boyce is produced by Brian Tankersley and in 1987, peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
