Live at Gray Matters, Volume 1: Songs from The Long Fall Back to Earth is a digital live extended play by the American rock band Jars of Clay, released to streaming

platforms on February 2, 2010 by Gray Matters/Provident Label Group. It marked the first installment of their four-part Live at Gray Matters EP series. The project was recorded in an intimate, raw setting with little to no editing at the band's Nashville studio and headquarters, Gray Matters. For this first volume, Jars of Clay perform five reimagined, stripped-down tracks from their 2009 Dove Award winning album The Long Fall Back to Earth. Musicians Gabe Ruschival and Jeremy Lutito from the band Disappointed By Candy fill up the rhythm section. Both also are the band's in-studio rhythm section. A video accompanies each EP that shows the band performing the tracks. The cover of each recording features an identical photograph, varying only in background color.
