Lord Lift Us Up is the debut album by the Christian gospel music duo BeBe & CeCe Winans released in 1984. The album is produced by Bill Maxwell on PTL Records.
The album's title is taken from the track "Up Where We Belong." The song was originally recorded by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes for the motion picture An Officer and a Gentleman and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1982. BeBe and CeCe recorded a religious variation of the song in 1984 that received airplay on Christian radio stations, and their remake in 1996 earned them a Dove Award. BeBe and CeCe earned their first Grammy Award nomination for Best Soul Gospel Performance by a Duo or Group for their debut album. Lord Lift Us Up is their first charted album climbing to the Top 20 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. The album was remastered in 2022 by Reaching Records.
NOTE: on the 2022 remastered digital version of the track "Up Where We Belong," the full-length track is not on there, only split up into two parts: Track 1 is the 29 second intro playing just the chorus. Track 11 is the 1:41 outro playing the song out to the end.
