Angels of Mercy is the second studio album by Christian singer Susan Ashton, released on July 4, 1992 by Sparrow Records. The album was produced by Wayne Kirkpatrick with Brown Bannister serving as executive producer.

Released over a year after her successful debut album Wakened By the Wind and fresh off a Dove nomination for New Artist of the Year, Ashton returns with her second album, once again continuing her country pop acoustic sound. The lead single and music video for "Here In My Heart" was written by Ashton and Gayla Borders. The lyrics tell a story about a person who gets caught up in the "madness" and rush of daily life, chasing big dreams and accidentally leaving God behind. Ultimately, the singer realizes that God is a patient, protective refuge who stays present right inside their heart. The song was an immediate hit at Christian radio where on the Christian AC chart, it topped for a week while peaking at No. 3 on the Christian CHR chart. Country singer Martina McBride would later cover "Here In My Heart" in 1997 on her fourth album Evolution.

Other songs charted like "Hunger And Thirst" and "Walk On By" (both No. 1 Christian AC hits), plus "Grand Canyon" and "Alice in Wonderland." Angels of Mercy peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1993, Ashton earned her first, and only, Grammy nomination for Best Pop Gospel Album for this release and at the Dove Awards, she was nominated in three categories including Female Vocalist of the Year.
