Crystal Clear (2000)

Crystal Clear is the seventh studio and sixth English album by Christian/Latina pop singer Jaci Velasquez, released on September 5, 2000 on Word Records. The album is produced by Mark Heimermann and Rudy Pérez.

The album is a mixture of some Latin, teen pop and ballads. Crystal Clear features two guest vocalists: Michael Tait of DC Talk singing backing vocals on the Christian CHR single "Center of Your Love" and Latin singer Luis Fonsi singing a duet with Jaci on the ballad "Come As You Are." The album featured three number one Christian radio hits: "Imagine Me Without You," "Center of Your Love" and "Every Time I Fall." Christian singer - songwriter Tiffany Arbuckle Lee (known by her stage name Plumb) co-wrote the title track.

Crystal Clear peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums and number 42 on the Billboard 200 Albums charts. The album was certified Gold a full year later in 2001. That same year, the album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album and Jaci was nominated in four categories at the Dove Awards including Female Vocalist and Artist of the Year.
