Diamond (2012)

Diamond is the 14th studio and 11th English album by Christian/Latina

pop singer Jaci Velasquez. It was released on February 7, 2012 by Inpop Records.

The album was produced by Craig Swift and Chris Beavens, who are both in the Latin Christian band Salvador, along with Jaci's husband Nic Gonzalez.

It is Jaci's first new studio album in four years, her first album of the 2010s and her only full-length album on the Inpop label. Diamond was preceded by the lead single "Give Them Jesus," which was released back in October 2011. It gave Jaci her first radio hit in nearly eight years and climbed to the Top 40 on the Billboard Christian charts. It was the only single to be released from the album. Jaci returns to familiar territory with some radio-friendly songs giving it a more adult contemporary sound. Diamond debuted and peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums and even though it did not chart on the Billboard 200, it did peak at number 189 on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales chart.
