My Dream Machine is a four-track digital extended play by the American alternative rock band Sixpence None the Richer. It was released independently and sold online for a limited time on the website NoiseTrade on July 8, 2008. It was the band's first official release in four years.

During Sixpence's hiatus, lead singer Leigh Nash released her first solo album, Blue On Blue, in August 2006. In 2007, she went through a divorce from PFR drummer Mark Nash and her father had passed away. Songwriter Matt Slocum worked with Astronaut Pushers, a Nashville-based supergroup consisting of top musicians including Sam Ashworth (Charlie Peacock's son) and has also toured with The Choir playing bass. Nash also collaborated with members of the Canadian ambient electronic music duo Delerium to form Fauxliage releasing a one-time self-titled project.

After their side projects, Nash and Slocum reunited and released My Dream Machine. The EP inspired by Nash's heartbreak, with lyrics that are brutally honest and painfully real throughout. Nash's sweet and soft vocals display more of this heartache this time around, as the listener can really feel what Nash was going through.

NOTE: the track "Amazing Grace (Give It Back)" contains some mild profanity as the word "damn" is used in the lyrics as Nash expresses her spiritual frustrations.

Three of the four tracks, "Amazing Grace (Give It Back)," the title song and "Sooner Than Later," would later appeared on their 2012 album Lost in Transition.

A YouTube link to listen to the EP is posted below this article.
