Greatest Hits (1996)

Greatest Hits is an official compilation album by the Christian gospel music duo BeBe & CeCe Winans, released on November 12, 1996 by Sparrow and EMI Records.

It is a collection of twelve of their best songs that were hits on mainstream R&B radio as well as CCM radio from the late 1980s to mid 1990s like "Addictive Love," "I.O.U. Me," "Heaven," "Celebrate New Life" and "I'll Take You There." In addition, BeBe and CeCe recorded two new songs including a re-recording of their debut single "Up Where We Belong" which they originally recorded for their 1984 debut album Lord Lift Us Up and "Feels Like Heaven (With You)." BeBe and CeCe won a Dove Award for their re-recording of "Up Where We Belong" for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year at the 29th GMA Dove Awards. Greatest Hits peaked at number 3 on the Top Gospel Albums, number 14 on the Top Christian Albums and number 93 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums charts in Billboard magazine. BeBe and CeCe would resume back to their solo careers until 2009 when they reunited for their next album Still.
