How Great Is Our God: The Essential Collection is an official compilation

album by Christian singer - songwriter Chris Tomlin, released on November 15,

2011 by sixstepsrecords/Sparrow Records.

It is a collection of Tomlin's best-known and favorite worship hits from his

first decade covering the 2000s to the 2010s. The title track was recorded in

two new versions: the World Edition that opens the compilation and a new

recorded version that ends it as well as fresh new recordings of "Forever" and

"We Fall Down." How Great Is Our God debuted and peaked at number 2 on

the Billboard Top Christian Albums and at number 40 on the Billboard 200.

The collection was Gold certified in March 2015 by the Recording Industry

Association of America (RIAA).
