Legacy is the second studio album by Christian singer/songwriter/author Michael Card. It was Card's second and final album on the Milk & Honey label, released on April 1, 1983. The album was produced by Randy Scruggs and John Thompson. Both Scruggs and Thompson got involved in songwriting with Card on a few tracks.

After the released of his debut album First Light, Card released his second album Legacy continuing his folk-pop sound. Card's first two singles "Love Crucified Arose" and "Abba Father" went Top 5 on the Christian radio charts. "Love Crucified Arose" was named as one of the 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music by CCM Magazine, listed at number 41. The song's Easter theme became a Christian radio staple, and in some ways, a blueprint for his upcoming series of albums about the life of Jesus. Card even records his own version of his Dove nominated song "El Shaddai," which was made famous by Amy Grant for her Age to Age album. Card however did win a Songwriter of the Year Dove Award in 1983 for the track.

Ironically, fellow artist and songwriter Benny Hester also released his album titled Legacy in the same year. Card's Legacy is his first chart appearance on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart climbing to number 8. The album was reissued in 1988 on CD as a double album with his first Benson release First Light and then reissued solo on CD in 1993.
