Mercy in the Wilderness is the 12th studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Steve Camp. It was released in late 1994 and it is the second and final album on Warner Alliance Records, Warner Bros. Christian/Gospel label. The album is produced by Camp and Michael Omartian.
The album is more praise and worship focused than his last album Taking Heaven by Storm or any of Camp's previous albums. Camp does an updated recording of his 1986 number one hit "He Covers Me." A majority of the album's tracks were written by Camp and fellow Christian artist, songwriter and friend Rob Frazier. The title song was Camp's final charting song peaking at number 8 on the Christian AC chart. Mercy in the Wilderness peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart in early 1995. The album is currently out of print and is not available digitally.
