More Christmas Songs (EP) (2011)

More Christmas Songs is a holiday extended play by the American rock band Jars of Clay. It was first released as tour merchandise on October 27, 2011 and then officially released on November 1, 2011 by their own label Gray Matters.

Jars of Clay recorded three extra songs on this EP that could serves as a companion release to their other previous Christmas releases, the 1995 Drummer Boy EP and the 2007 full-length Christmas Songs, covering two songs and one original track titled "Almost Christmas." Their cover of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" (originally recorded by Darlene Love in 1963) is an upbeat ukulele-driven track and their cover of "Someday at Christmas" (originally recorded by Stevie Wonder in 1966) has a quiet blend of fingerpicked acoustic guitars, a soft melodica/keyboard line, and Dan Haseltine's raw vocal delivery.
