Over the Edge is the second studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Geoff Moore. Released in 1986 on Benson Records' Power Discs label, the album is produced by Billy Smiley. Over the Edge has more of a rock-oriented sound, departing the pop sound of his debut album Where Are The Other Nine? and contains a cover of Larry Norman's 1972 classic "Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music." Moore's version climbed to the Top 10 on the Christian Rock radio chart. The album features members of the Christian rock band White Heart in the rhythm section. In 2020, Over the Edge was reissued and remastered by Girder Records on CD for the first time with a live recording of "Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music " as a bonus track.
