Revolution is the 12th studio album by the Christian rock band Skillet. It was released on November 1, 2024 by Hear It Loud Records. It is the first Skillet album to be released independently.

On the album cover, the band flag that lead singer John Cooper is holding has "1 COR 13:13" printed on the lower-right hand corner, referring to 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 13 which says "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (New International Version). Regarding the title and theme, Cooper explained, "The revolution we're talking about on this record is not a political revolution, [and] it is certainly not a militaristic one, which I've never supported. It's a revolution for love. It's a revolution to love your enemies." At slightly over 35 minutes and only ten songs, Revolution is the band's shortest album to date. The next shortest album is the band's very first debut released in 1996 also with ten songs and totaling 38 minutes.

The first single for the album, "Unpopular," was released with an accompanying music video on August 9, 2024. Designed with "tongue-in-cheek" lyrics, Cooper stated the song is "saying the world's gone so nuts that the things the world loves are so disgusting and so crazy—like, in a world gone mad, would you really want to be popular? That's kind of the joke of the song." The second single, "All That Matters," was released a month later on September 12. The third and last for the album, "Ash in the Wind," was released on October 18. Cooper mentioned that "'Ash in the Wind' reminds us of a mix of old Skillet and Linkin Park, which I’m a huge fan of. Korey produced it, and it definitely merges live performance with modern recording techniques."

Another highlight from Revolution is "Happy Wedding Day (Alex's Song)." The song was made for Alexandria Kaplan (formerly Alexandria Cooper), who is the daughter of Cooper and his wife and band mate Korey. She got married on April 6th, 2024. The lyrics of “Happy Wedding Day” by Cooper are a heartfelt reflection on a father’s journey of raising his daughter and the bittersweet emotions of seeing her get married. The song captures the passage of time, from the struggles and joys of parenthood to the realization that childhood moments are fleeting.

Revolution charted and peaked on the following Billboard album charts:

-#1 Top Christian Albums

-#100 Billboard 200

-#4 Top Hard Rock Albums

-#20 Top Vinyl Albums

-#14 Top Independent Albums

-#19 Top Rock & Alternative Albums

While Korey produced a couple of tracks, a majority of the album was produced by Seth Mosley with Brian Howes, who co-produced their 2016 album Unleashed, produced three tracks and the team of Carlo Colasacco and Eric Paquette using the alias Youthyear producing the title track. In October 2025, Revolution was nominated for a Dove Award for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year.
