Simple Things is the fifteenth studio album by Christian singer-songwriter Amy Grant, released on August 19, 2003 by Word Records and A&M/Interscope/Geffen

Records.

Simple Things did not have the effect of Grant's previous pop albums from the 1990s. The title song was a Top 30 AC hit climbing to number 23 and a Top 10 Billboard Christian Songs chart. The album topped the Billboard Top Christian Albums and peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Keith Thomas produced eight tracks with Ron Hemby co-producing and writing the track "Innocence Lost." Brown Bannister and Wayne Kirkpatrick each produced one track.

In 2004, Simple Things was nominated for a Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.
