Talk About Life is the second studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Kim Hill, released on July 18, 1989 by Reunion Records. The album was produced by Brown Bannister and Wayne Kirkpatrick.
Talk About Life continues the pop/rock sound as heard from her 1988 self-titled debut album with some touches of acoustic guitars giving it some country elements. In addition to studio musicians, it also features White Heart's rhythm section of guitarist Gordon Kennedy, bassist Tommy Sims and drummer Chris McHugh. Bannister produced the band's album Freedom, which was released in the same year as this album.
Like Hill's 1988 release, more Christian radio hits followed with "Testimony," "Inside of You," "Charmis Deceitful" and "Secret Place." The Wes King-penned "Snake in the Grass" was also Hill's first music video. Talk About Life was Hill's first appearance on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, debuting and peaking at number 21. In 1990, Hill was nominated for two Dove Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.
