The Hymns (2026)

The Hymns is the 10th studio album by Christian Gospel singer CeCe Winans, released on June 5, 2026 by PureSpring Gospel/Fair Trade Services. The album was produced and arranged by Thomas Hardin Jr. and Tyrone Jackson.

With CeCe's two best-selling live projects Believe For It and More Than This still charting on both the Billboard Christian and Gospel album charts, CeCe releases her first new studio release since her 2017 album Let Them Fall in Love and her first album cover of sacred church hymns. CeCe has posted on her social media post on Facebook that The Hymns "has been incredibly special to work on. These hymns have carried us through the good times and the difficult times with truth, comfort, and the reminder that God is always faithful. That is the power of a hymn. It keeps pointing us back to Him, again and again."

The Hymns was preceded with the lead single "At the Cross." It was released on digital platforms back on October 17, 2025. A month later on November 14, 2025, the Christmas hymn "The First Noel" was released. "How Great Thou Art" was released on April 1, 2026 as an exclusive single (and now a bonus track on Spotify). "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" was released on May 15, 2026 as an extended play (EP) and second single, also containing the previously released tracks, except for "How Great Thou Art," along with the album announcement. The project marks a return to the foundational, multi-generational songs of the Christian faith. The track list features classic church hymns re-imagined through her signature warm vocal style and gospel arrangements.
