Wonderful World (1995)

Updated: Jan 27

Wonderful World is the second studio album by British Christian singer - songwriter Chris Eaton, released in 1995 on Sparrow Records. Eaton produced the album with Brown Bannister. It is Eaton's first album of new material since his debut album Vision as he was focusing on songwriting, producing and singing backing vocals on CCM acts like Amy Grant, Margaret Becker and many others in the past decade.

Eaton returns with an album that reflects deeply on the maintenance of faith in the midst of struggles, such as his divorce from his first wife. Wonderful World features "Breath of Heaven" with his original non-Christmas lyrics, plus the first single "Everlasting Love" about the surety and permanence of God's love. Out of the Grey's Christine Denté provides guest vocals on the track "Westworld." The track "Something New" draws on Isaiah 43 to reflect God's offer of renewal and hope.
