Abandoned to God is the 13th studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Steve Camp. It was released in 1999 and the only album Camp released on the Ministry Music label. On October 31, 1998, in the tradition of Martin Luther's Ninety-Five Theses, Camp sent out his own 107 Theses on Reformation Day, calling for a reformation in contemporary Christian music: calling Christian musicians to make direct, uncompromising music that confronts the world with the message of the scriptures. Abandoned to God features a then-little known singer Natalie Grant as a backing vocalist. It is Camp's first studio album in four years and his first album since Consider the Cost (1991) that did not feature a remake of earlier songs. Camp wrote and produced the album himself and covers Keith Green's song "Pledge My Head to Heaven" from Green's 1980 album So You Wanna Go Back to Egypt. Abandoned to God is currently out of print and is not available digitally. A YouTube link to listen to the album is posted below this article.
