Celebrate the Family (1990)
Celebrate the Family is the first Children's music album by Evie, alongside with her husband Pelle Karlsson and their two children Kristopher and Jenny. It was released on November 14, 1990 on the independent label White Field Music, named after the studio that Evie recorded most of her albums in California. Credited as Evie & The Karlsson, Celebrate the Family is a musical project built around Christian family values.
Celebrate the Family is uniquely structured, alternating between spoken family "dialog" tracks that focus on specific spiritual themes (such as love, joy, and peace) and corresponding musical tracks. The album was produced and written by Karlsson. It was released on CD and cassette tape when it was first issued. It is not on streaming platforms.
