When All is Said and Done (1986)
When All is Said and Done is the 23rd studio and the 16th English language album by Christian singer Evie, released in October 1986 on Word Records. The album was produced and arranged by Pelle Karlsson.
It was Evie's first solo album of new material in six years. During those times, Evie has put out a worship album (Restoration), a hymns album (Hymns) and her second Christmas album (Christmas, A Happy Time). When All is Said and Done marked a return to Evie's signature blend of devotional gospel and mid-tempo inspirational pop themes, reflecting a strong message of long-term faith, salvation, and resilience. The title track was released as the lead single. Although the song did well on the Inspirational chart, this was her final Top 20 appearance on the Christian AC chart. "United We Stand" is a vocal duet between Evie and her husband Karlsson. "Another Angel in the Sky" is based on Revelation 14:6 and at the time, she dedicated the song to the upcoming Dominion Satellite Network, known for creating and operating Sky Angel, a multi-channel satellite television and radio network dedicated strictly to Christian and family-oriented programming.
When All is Said and Done did not chart on Billboard's Christian album chart. The album was issued on LP, cassette tape and CD when it was first released, but has since been out of print and is not on streaming platforms. A YouTube link to listen to the album is posted below this article.
When All is Said and Done was Evie's final album with Word Records after being on the label for more than a decade.
