In Concert (1981)

Updated: Sep 21

In Concert is a live album by Christian singer-songwriter Amy Grant, released in the spring of 1981 on Myrrh Records.

It was originally intended as a double live album, but budget problems caused the live sets to be released separately with the other being In Concert, Volume 2 to be released later in the year. In Concert featured two new songs: "Mimi's House" and "Singing a Love Song" with the latter released as a Top 10 Christian radio single. The band features members of the Christian rock duo DeGarmo and Key including Eddie DeGarmo on the keyboards and Dana Key on electric guitar and vocals. The album was recorded live at the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and at the Lloyd Noble Center at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.

In Concert was nominated for a Grammy award for Best Gospel Performance, Contemporary
