In Concert Volume 2 (1981)

Updated: Jun 2

In Concert Volume 2 is a live album by Christian singer - songwriter Amy Grant, released in the fall of 1981 on Myrrh/Word Records.

It was originally intended as a double live album, but budget problems caused the live sets to be released separately with the other being In Concert, which was released earlier in 1981. In Concert Volume 2 featured four new songs: "I'm Gonna Fly" (which was released as a Top 10 Christian radio single), "You Gave Me Love" (a cover of a B.J. Thomas song), "Fill Me With Your Love" and "Nobody Loves Me Like You" with DeGarmo & Key featuring lead vocals by Dana Key (originally on their Grammy and Dove nominated 1980 album This Ain't Hollywood).

The band features members of the Christian rock duo DeGarmo & Key with Eddie DeGarmo on the keyboards and Dana Key on electric guitar and vocals. The album was recorded live at the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and at the Lloyd Noble Center at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. In Concert, Volume 2 peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart in 1982.
