Live Experience (1983)

Live Experience is a live album by Christian singer - songwriter Leon Patillo, released around April 1983 by Myrrh/Word Records. Patillo produced the album with Skip Konte.

Live Experience is one of Patillo's best selling albums and it features only him handling keyboard programming with drums, bass, piano and Rhodes (electric piano) and all vocals, making Patillo a one-man band. It was recorded live in Dallas, Texas. The live album debuted and peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums (Top Christian Albums) chart. In 1984, Patillo earned his second Dove Award nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year and at the Grammys, his live version of his Christian radio hit "Cornerstone" was nominated for Best Soul Gospel Performance, Male.
