Nothing But the Truth is the fifth and final solo album by Christian singer - songwriter Bob Carlisle, released on August 22, 2000 by Diadem Music/Provident Music Distribution. The album was produced by Regie Hamm.
In his final solo outing, Carlisle presents a mix of adult contemporary pop and soul/R&B with inspiring ballads. Carlisle also covers two songs: the much-covered gospel-like tune "Love Is the Answer" but with additional lyrics and sung with friend Bryan Duncan and Amy Grant's number 1 hit "Baby, Baby." The final track "After All" also appears in the motion picture soundtrack album Left Behind and is co-written with Randy Stonehill. Nothing But the Truth did not chart on either the Top Christian or Billboard 200 Albums charts and even though the songs "Forgiveness" and "Watched By An Angels" were released in advance as singles, both songs did not chart.
