Present Reality (1988)

Present Reality is the sixth studio album by Christian singer/songwriter/author Michael Card, released on May 30, 1988 by Sparrow Records. The album was produced by Norbert Putnam.

After Card wrapped up his first trilogy about The Life of Christ, Card returned with his first regular studio since 1983's Legacy before embarking on his next trilogy about the story of Israel in the Old Testament titled The Ancient Faith. Present Reality deals with the theological mystery of knowing God in the present moment. The title track, "Know You in the Now," is one of the songs about the topic. It's also the second single from the album which did really well on the Christian radio charts. "That's What Faith Must Be" and "Could It Be" were also radio hits. Present Reality was Card's first Top 10 album on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart peaking at number 6.
