Shake Me to Wake Me is the sixth studio album by Christian singer - songwriter
Steve Camp. It was released in 1985 and is his second album on Sparrow Records.
Camp produced and arranged the album himself with some assistance from Rob Frazier, who did production assistance on basic tracks and co-wrote the album and John Rosasco on vocal production.
Shake Me to Wake Me serves as the official follow up to his Sparrow debut Fire and Ice (not counting his final Myrrh/Word release It's a Dying World), continuing his contemporary pop rock sound with songs like "Surrender Your Heart," (a duet with vocalist Suzanne Norman) "Stranger to Holiness" and "On the Edge" among others. Camp covers his late friend Keith Green's song "Asleep in the Light." Camp made his one and only music video for the track "Lazy Jane." Shake Me to Wake Me peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
