Stand is the fourteenth studio album by Christian singer -songwriter Michael W. Smith, released on November 7, 2006 by Reunion Records.
Serving as a follow-up to his 2004 album Healing Rain, Stand continues his CCM pop sound while also including some praise and worship songs. The album is produced by Matt Bronleewe with Smith as executive producer. Leeland Mooring of the Christian rock band Leeland co-wrote six songs and wrote the song "Be Lifted High." In addition to Mooring, Amy Grant, Martin Smith of Delirious? and Bronleewe co-wrote songs with Smith and Smith covers Keith Green's worship classic "Oh Lord, You're Beautiful." Australian musician and Hillsong United worship leader Joel Houston wrote the title song "The Stand." Smith's wife Debbie and their children Ryan and Whitney co-wrote the song "Come See."
Stand tops the Top Christian Albums and debuted and peaked at number 48 on the Top 200 Albums charts in Billboard magazine. Smith was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album for Stand at the 50th Grammy Awards.
