The Worship Sessions is a contemporary worship album by the Christian rock band MercyMe. It was released exclusively to Family Christian Stores on August 30, 2011 and is the first MercyMe album on the newly named Fair Trade Services label, formerly INO Records. The album consists of covers of popular worship songs and hymns, as well as two original songs by the band itself. This was the last MercyMe album to feature co-founding member and keyboardist Jim Bryson prior to their next studio album The Hurt & the Healer. The Worship Sessions debuted and peaked at number 33 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart in 2013. MercyMe produced the album themselves and has recorded the overdubs in various churches, venues, locker rooms and at their houses.
