Worthy Is the Lamb is an audio/visual extended play by Christian singer - songwriter Michael W. Smith, released digitally on March 15, 2024 by Rocketown Records/The Fuel Music. Smith produced the EP himself.
Worthy Is the Lamb's first four tracks were captured live with the Nashville Recording Orchestra and a choir at the Fisher Center at Belmont University. The recording took place in 2023 as part of an Easter special in partnership with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It features worship songs that Smith has previously recorded on his past worship albums but with new arrangements and one new track called "Crimson Dust."
On "Crimson Dust," Smith co-wrote the song with songwriter Tony Wood, which sets the scene of the day of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Released in time for the Easter season.
