Yo Kidz! 2: The Armor of God is the ninth studio and second children's music album by Christian singer - songwriter Carman, released in the fall of 1994 by Everland/Word Records. It was produced by Christopher Harris and Ron Krueger, with Krueger writing the dialog.
It's a sequel to the first Yo Kidz! album featuring Carman and his sidekick friend Lawrence the Kat, along with some other friends, featuring the voices of Michael-
Anthony Taylor as Lawrence, Nicole C. Mullen as Sarena the Kat and Nathan Gaines as Lester the Kat with the dialog with singing vocals of Lester by Gary Janney. Yo Kidz! 2 teaches kids about being a warrior for God and to help them hide the Word in their hearts. Carman also records a studio version of his 1988 track "Radically Saved."
The album features lead vocals by the Christian R&B group Anointed on the track "Tet-A-Tet (Face to Face)" and a duet with Carman and Christian gospel singer Helen Baylor on the track "Meant For This Moment." Yo Kidz! 2 climbed up to number 16 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1995, Carman won his second Dove Award for Children's Music Album of the Year at the 26th GMA Dove Awards.
