10 (2009) (MercyMe compilation album)

10 is the first official compilation album by the Christian rock band MercyMe, released on April 7, 2009 by INO Records/Sony Music. 10 was released in

commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the band's single "I Can Only Imagine." The track was first recorded and appeared on MercyMe's 1999 self-released album The Worship Project and then was added and re-recorded two years later on their debut album Almost There. MercyMe's lead singer Bart Millard wrote the song while reminiscing about his father's death. Although the band was aiming to produce a worship record of easy-to-sing songs, they included it because it was important to Millard.

10 contains 12 of the band's # 1 songs across their five studio album, Almost There, Spoken For, Undone, Coming Up to Breathe and All That Is Within Me, plus a new recording of "I Can Only Imagine" featuring the London Session Orchestra and two new tracks. Additional content, which varies depending on the version of the album, includes music videos, featurettes, and live recordings. The Sound CD contains 15 audio tracks and the Sight DVD contains music videos, live performances and special features. A live CD is also included containing ten live performances. 10 topped the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart for two weeks and at number 18 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
