Everyday Man (1987)

Updated: Jun 2

Everyday Man is the second studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Gary Chapman. It was originally released in 1987 and it is his first album on Reunion Records. Chapman produced the album with Brown Bannister and Mark Wright.

It was released as a mainstream country pop album. RCA Records released the album in 1988 and featured the songs "When We're Together (Love's So Strong)" and the title song. Both songs charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Chapman covers the John Hiatt track "Love Like Blood" featuring a duet with his first wife Amy Grant. The 1988 RCA version of Everyday Man omitted the album's final track "Your Love Stays With Me," which was Chapman's first Christian radio hit since "Sincerely Yours." Everyday Man climbed to number 26 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
