Live Revelations (2009)

Live Revelations is the second live CD and DVD by the Christian rock band Third Day, released on April 7, 2009 by Essential Records/Provident Music.

Produced by the band themselves, most of the tracks are from their 2008 release Revelation. Some of the songs were cut off the CD but can be found on the DVD. The concert was shot and recorded in Atlanta, Georgia, Raleigh, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee and Houston, Texas during the Music Builds Tour along with Switchfoot, Robert Randolph & the Family Band and Jars of Clay. All four bands were featured on the U2 cover of "When Love Comes to Town." The DVD contains a 75-minute documentary entitled On Stage. Off Stage. Backstage looking at the band balancing life on the road, family relationships and live performances. It also contains DVD extras like the "Revelation" music video, outtakes, HD content and others.

Live Revelations debuted and peaked at number 12 on the Top Christian Albums and at number 145 on the Billboard 200 Albums charts. In 2010, Third Day collected their fourth and final Grammy Award for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album at the 52nd Grammy Awards and their DVD was nominated for a Dove Award for Long Form Music Video of the Year. The DVD was Gold certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
