Our Christmas (1990)

Our Christmas is a compilation Christmas album released jointly by Reunion Records and Word Records on September 17, 1990. This is the second of a three-album trilogy from Word Records using the word "Our" following the release of Our Hymns (1989) and the upcoming Our Family (1993). Like Our Hymns, Our Christmas features Christmas songs done by CCM artists' interpretation and styles of music. Highlights include a duet with Amy Grant and Sandi Patty singing a medley of "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and "One Small Child" recorded by David Meece, a song he wrote back in 1971 and has since been covered by other Christian artists including First Call and Rebecca St. James. Our Christmas peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.

NOTE: on the digital album edition, the Grant and Patty duet is not included, due to the fact that Grant is recording for Capitol Christian Music Group by way of Amy Grant Productions. This recording was not part of Grant's recordings that were transferred over when she was with Word Records. Legal issues have prevented this track from being included, because the track is owned by Word Records. A YouTube playlist with the duet included is posted below this article.
