Sandra Faye "Sandi" Patty (born July 12, 1956) is an American Christian music singer. Patty is known for her wide soprano vocal range and expressive flexibility.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Patty has won critical acclaim for her vocal versatility including 5 Grammy Awards and 39 Dove Awards, which includes 11 times Female Vocalist of the Year from 1982 to 1992 and participating Dove Awards appearing in various artists albums.
Patty has sold millions of records including Gold and Platinum albums such as Morning Like This, Make His Praise Glorious, Hymns Just for You and Another Time...Another Place among others. Patty has also authored several books including Merry Christmas, With Love, I've Just Seen Jesus, Falling Forward...into His Arms of Grace and The Edge of the Divine among others.
