WOW 2000 (1999)

WOW 2000 is a double disc compilation album that was released on October 26, 1999 by Word Entertainment, Provident Music Group and EMI Christian Music Group with Sparrow/Chordant Distribution/EMI Christian Music Group as its main distributor.

This collection contains 30 top Christian songs and artists as well as 4 bonus tracks, two tracks on each disc by new and developing artists. In this release, it features music by Amy Grant, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Twila Paris and more. WOW 2000 topped the Billboard Top Christian Albums and peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200 Albums charts. It was Gold certified two months after its release in late 1999 and then Double Platinum in October 2000.
