Along the Road (1994)

Along the Road is a collaborative contemporary Christian music album by female vocalists Susan Ashton, Margaret Becker and Out of the Grey's

Christine Denté. It was released on September 20, 1994 by Sparrow Records. The project was produced by Wayne Kirkpatrick with music executive Peter York serving as executive producer.

Along the Road is known for its acoustic guitar arrangements, light country-pop styling, and intricate three-part vocal harmonies. Each artist takes the lead on exactly four tracks while the others provide backing vocals. The title track is a remake of a 1979 composition by American singer - songwriter Dan Fogelberg, while the remaining songs are original materials to this album. Each of them showcase their vocal styles such as Becker in the title song, "Angels" by Denté and "Song of Reconciliation" by Ashton.

Along the Road climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The trio were nominated for a Dove Award for Group of the Year in 1995.
