Hymns of Faith...Songs of Inspiration is the 21st studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty . It was released on September 14, 2004 and her first album on INO Records (later renamed Fair Trade Services) and distributed by Sony Music. The album is produced and arranged by David Hamilton. Released on 2 CDs, it's a 22-track collection of timeless, traditional hymns, contemporary worship hits, inspirational classics and stirring patriotic anthems, featuring Patty's powerful, signature vocals backed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hamilton. Patty performs her version of "The Prayer" with her second husband Don Peslis. Hymns of Faith... debuted and peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. Take Hold of Christ is the 20th studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released on February 11, 2003 by Word/Curb/Warner Bros. Records. Patty reunites with her long-time producer Greg Nelson for this project. While it's still contemporary, Take Hold of Christ is a return to Patty's inspirational roots to recapture her glory days of her classic hits like "We Shall Behold Him," "Was It a Morning Like This" and "How Majestic Is Your Name" but for the 21st century. Album highlights include the title song, "Fields of Mercy," "Savior Came (When I Was Needy)" and "The Majesty and Glory of Your Name." Take Hold of Christ debuted and peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 2004, the album was nominated for a Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year. It is Patty's first studio album of Christian material in three years and a return to her Christian AC/pop sound. Patty's long-time producer Greg Nelson produced three songs including a cover of Michael and Stormie Omartian's classic "One More Song for You," originally recorded by The Imperials. An American Songbook is the 15th studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty . Released on the Tandem Productions label in 1996, this is a rare album that Patty has sung other than Christian music. It is an album of covers featuring American Songbook classics, Broadway, big band songs and Walt Disney medleys showing a side of Patty her love of musical styles and Broadway songs performing with a symphony pop orchestra. When not doing Christian music albums or concerts, Patty would embark in concerts with local symphony pop orchestras and singing Broadway songs and from the American Songbook singing pop standards. An American Songbook was not meant to be released commercially but due to popular demand, the album was re-released in 1999. Find It On the Wings is the 14th studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released on October 25, 1994 by Word Records. It is the first album on which the singer uses her real last name "Patty," and she will continue to use it on future releases. Patty collaborated with producer Phil Ramone (Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin) and songwriters Burt Bacharach and Will Jennings on the track "If I Want To," while her long-time producer Greg Nelson produced the rest of the album. Patty also sings a duet with R&B singer Peabo Bryson on the gospel track "Make It 'til Tomorrow." CCM singer/songwriter Cindy Morgan contributed the song "When I Heal." Producer Nelson and songwriter Bob Farrell wrote three songs together. A music video was made for the lead single "Carry On," written by Farrell and Michael W. Smith . Find It On the Wings peaked at number 3 on the Top Christian Albums and made her first appearance on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart at number 33. Le Voyage is the 13th studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released in 1993 on Word Records. The album is produced by Greg Nelson. It's a concept album and it tells the story, done in a musical setting, featuring Patty as a character named Traveler, and she comes from a long line of Sojouners. It has been described as a modern retelling of John Bunyan's 1678 book Pilgrim's Progress featuring songs about traveling on a journey of faith. Le Voyage continues her inspirational sound but also adds some upbeat pop and adult contemporary sounds as well. Patty re-records a new version of "Unexpected Friends," originally from her 1990 album Another Time...Another Place and also features a duet with fellow Christian singer/songwriter and former Kansas lead singer John Elefante called "Home Will Find You." All songs were written by Nelson and Bob Farrell. This would be the last album using her professional last name "Patti." Patty also released a companion book to go with the album. Le Voyage tops the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album. In 1994, her music video for the first single "Hand On My Shoulder" won Short Form Music Video of the Year at the 25th GMA Dove Awards. The Friendship Company: Open for Business is the 12th studio and second Children's music album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released in the fall of 1991 on Everland, a Word Records label that specializes in children's music. The album is produced by Greg Nelson and Ron Krueger, with Krueger writing the dialog. A sequel to 1989's Sandi Patti and the Friendship Company , this album continues the theme of friendship and this time tells a story with dialog in between songs featuring Patty and some animal friends at a clubhouse called "The Friendship Company." The Friendship Company: Open for Business peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1992 at the 23rd GMA Dove Awards, Patty won her final title as Female Vocalist of the Year, as she has won the award since 1982, and also winning Children's Music Album of the Year for this album.
