Another Time...Another Place is the eleventh studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released on September 17, 1990 by Word Records. Patty and Greg Nelson produced the album. Like her 1986 best seller and award winning album Morning Like This , Another Time...Another Place was another definitive album with in addition to her inspirational anthems, there are also some pop elements and uptempo songs. The title song features a duet with fellow Christian singer and songwriter Wayne Watson and was released as the first single and music video. It became a successful hit climbing to No. 1 on the Christian AC chart and would win them a GMA Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year and it also won Song of the Year, given to its writer Gary Driskell. The album also features popular CCM singer and songwriter Amy Grant providing guest vocals on the track "Unexpected Friends." Another Time... Another Place peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1991, Patty won her fifth and final Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album at the 33rd Grammy Awards. That same year, Patty won Female Vocalist of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year with the title song and Inspirational Album of the Year at the 22nd GMA Dove Awards and the following year, Patty won Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year for the track "For All the World" and its music video for "Another Time, Another Place" was named Short Form Music Video of the Year. Another Time...Another Place was Patty's last Gold certified album by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of 500,000. Sandi Patti and the Friendship Company is the tenth studio and first Children's music album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released in the spring of 1989 on Word Records. The album is produced by Patty and Greg Nelson with John Helvering (Patty's first husband) and Dan Johnson as executive producers. The theme on this album is about friendship and how special children are to God. It features a children's choir and Gerbert, a popular television character based on the late 1980s television series of the same name, that teaches children about kindness and friendship, making good choices, the importance of loving your neighbor and learning a valuable lesson in life, which is pretty much what this album is about. Sandi Patti and the Friendship Company went to number one on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, giving Patty her third number one album. In 1990, Patty won two Dove Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Children's Music Album of the Year at the 21st GMA Dove Awards. Morning Like This is the eighth studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty . It was her first album to be released on Word Records on February 13, 1986. Patty and Greg Nelson produced the album. Morning Like This was considered a successful album and a turning point in her career. A few months after its release, Patty had reached national acclaim after her rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" was included during the ABC Statue of Liberty re-dedication broadcast on July 6, 1986. This exposure led to multiple mainstream television appearances including The Tonight Show and Christmas in Washington . CCM Magazine has given the album critical acclaim by ranking Morning Like This at number 87 in their 2001 book The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music , while the track "Love In Any Language" was ranked at number 73 in their 2006 book The 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music . Morning Like This would give Patty her first number one album on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, and finished in the Top 3 for three years on their year-end charts, including taking the number one album of 1987 and was certified Gold in 1987 and Platinum in 1993 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of 1 million copes. In 1987, Patty won her first solo Grammy Award (her third overall) for Best Gospel Performance, Female for Morning Like This at the 29th Grammy Awards. That same year, Patty won 3 Dove Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year (she won the same title the following year), Artist of the Year and Inspirational Album of the Year at the 18th GMA Dove Awards. Produced by Greg Nelson with Patty co-producing. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance, Female for Songs From the Heart at the 27th Grammy Awards. Patty won 3 Dove Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Artist of the Year and Inspirational Album of the Year at the 16th GMA Dove Awards in 1985. The track (and music video) "Via Dolorosa" was named Song of the Year in 1986, awarded to its writers Billy Sprague and Niles Borop. Clydesdale and was recorded live at Great Circle Sound in Nashville, Tennessee and First Assembly of God in Lakeland, Florida. The album reached number 2 on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart, making her debut chart appearance on that chart. Patty's two previous albums Love Overflowing and Lift Up the Lord started charting in 1984, due to her popularity on the charts and award show appearances. The track "More Than Wonderful" features a duet with fellow Christian and Gospel singer Larnelle Harris and would go on and win many accolades including a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance by a Duo or Group, winning both Patty and Harris their first Grammys together and a Dove Award for Song of the Year awarded to its writer Lanny Wolfe. Lift Up the Lord is the fourth studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty , released in 1982 on Impact Records. This is Patty's first time working with producer Greg Nelson and it will be a long association as Nelson would produce this and future Patty releases throughout the 1980s and up to the mid 1990s. The track "How Majestic Is Your Name" is written by up and coming singer -songwriter Michael W. Smith and it has become one of Patty's signature songs and has often been performed in her concerts. In 1984, Lift Up the Lord charted on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart, peaking at number 12. In 1983, Patty earned her first Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Performance, Contemporary or Inspirational for Lift Up the Lord . Patty won two Dove Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Inspirational Album of the Year at the 14th GMA Dove Awards. In 1987, Benson Music re-issued Lift Up the Lord on CD with an updated photo of Patty. In 1990, Word Records re-issued the album on CD with the same updated album cover. Track listing 1. Love Overflowing is the third studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty . Released in 1981, it was on the Benson Music's Impact Records label. Produced by Neal Joseph. It would be the beginning of her reign at the GMA Dove Awards as Female Vocalist of the Year as a title she would win for the next 11 years until 1992. Patty also won Artist of the Year at the 13th GMA Dove Awards. The track "We Shall Behold Him," written by Dottie Rambo, would be her signature song and a concert favorite as Patty has performed this at everyone of her concerts until her retirement from touring in 2016 and winning two Dove Awards for Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year, both given to Rambo. "We Shall Behold Him" was ranked at number 65 by CCM Magazine in their 2006 book The 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music . The album also features a duet with Russ Taff on the song "The Home of the Lord." Taff had already left The Imperials when he recorded this duet. In 1984, Love Overflowing climbed to No. 26 on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums (later renamed Top Christian Albums) chart. Benson Music re-issued the album on CD in 1987 with an updated album cover featuring an illustration portrait and design by Bill Myers. Sandi's Song is the second studio and first nationally released album by Christian singer Sandi Patty . Released in 1979, it was released on the Milk & Honey label and distributed by Singspiration, a division of Benson Music. The album is the beginning of Patty's musical versatility showing off her vocals in either slow ballads (for which she was popularly known for in future and subsequent albums) and uptempo songs. A typo with her last name was shown starting with this album and she would keep this as a professional last name. Her last name "Patti" would be used and kept until 1993. In 1986, Benson Records re-issued Sandi's Song with a updated album cover featuring a piano with rose petals. Word Records re-issued the album again in 1990 featuring the same updated album cover.
