Released by their former record label Home Sweet Home on September 29, 1987, it contains 16 of their best songs and album cuts from that period taken from their first three studio albums White Heart , Vital Signs and Hotline including a remixed recording of "Everyday," orginally from their 1983 self-titled debut album, plus their live track "Hosanna" from Live at Six Flags .   • Don't Wait for the Movie (1986)

    Don't Wait for the Movie is the fourth studio album by the Christian rock group White Heart . Released on June 27, 1986, this is their first album with Sparrow Records. Don't Wait for the Movie introduced two new members: new lead singer and former roadie Rick Florian and Chris McHugh on the drums. Bass guitar player Gary Lunn would leave the band after recording the album and was replaced on tour by bass guitar player and musician Tommy Sims. Sims would be a regular member on the next two albums. Don't Wait for the Movie became a very successful album with radio singles "How Many Times (Seventy Times Seven)" and "Fly Eagle Fly" both topping the Christian radio charts while "Beat of a Different Drum" and "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Christian" were hits on Christian Rock radio stations and programs. CCM Magazine listed this album at number 74 in their 2001 book The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music . Don't Wait for the Movie climbed to number 11 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. White Heart was nominated for a Dove Award for Group of the Year at the 18th GMA Dove Awards but lost to the vocal group First Call . The album cover did win a Dove Award for Recorded Music Packaging given to Mark Tucker and Buddy Jackson for photography and art direction. White Heart also released a companion video called Don't Wait for the Movie: The Live Video Album on VHS featuring all songs on the album except "King George."     Live at Six Flags is a live album by the Christian rock band White Heart . Released in 1986, this would be their final album on the Home Sweet Home label. Recorded live at Six Flags Over Texas theme park in Arlington, Texas around the summer of 1984 when White Heart was touring in support of their second album Vital Signs performing songs from that album and their self - titled debut album . The band also introduces a brand new song called "Hosanna" written by White Heart founders Billy Smiley and Mark Gersmehl, that would later be recorded by Christian singer Sandi Patty on her 1986 album Morning Like This .     Vital Signs is the second studio album by the Christian rock group White Heart , released jointly in March 1984 on Home Sweet Home Records and Myrrh/Word Records. Vital Sings features Scott Douglas as the new lead vocalist replacing Steve Green , who left White Heart in 1983 after their self -titled album was released. Green does provide backing vocals on the group's first number one hit "We Are His Hands" featuring Douglas on lead vocals. Green was one of the choir vocalists on the song, along with Amy Grant , Russ Taff , Bob Farrell of Farrell and Farrell , Kathy Troccoli and many others. "We Are His Hands" was ranked at number 92 from CCM Magazine 's 2006 book The 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music . The album peaked at number nine on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart. White Heart produced the album themselves for Home Sweet Home Records with Chris Christian  as executive producer. This would be the final album to feature Dann Huff as guitarist and vocalist. A music video was made for the title song. You'll notice that Gordon Kennedy was in the video as Dann Huff's replacement as lead guitarist. Vital Signs was reissued on CD jointly by Retroactive Records and Christian's record label Home Sweet Home Records on April 9, 2021, released as part of The Legend Series. The album was remastered with the tape dropout on the track "Undercover" featured on previous versions and a live bonus track of "Hosanna" taken from their live album Live at Six Flags .     Hotline is the third studio album by the Christian rock group White Heart , released in March 1985 on Home Sweet Home Records. White Heart went through more personnel changes as Gordon Kennedy replaced Dann Huff as the new lead guitarist and vocalist and this would be the final appearance of two of its members: Dann Huff's brother David would leave the group and tour as a drummer for Michael W. Smith and lead vocalist Scott Douglas who would be charged with aggravated sexual battery and was sentenced a year later. Their first hit single "Jerusalem" made the Top 5 on Christian radio featuring vocals by Kennedy and Douglas. Billy Smiley and Mark Gersmehl wrote the song with Eddie DeGarmo and Dana Key, also known as DeGarmo & Key . Hotline peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. White Heart founders Billy Smiley and Mark Gersmehl produced the album with Chris Christian  as executive producer. Hotline was reissued on CD jointly by Retroactive Records and Christian's record label Home Sweet Home Records on April 9, 2021, released as part of The Legend Series. The album was remastered with two bonus tracks: the Christmas track "Gloria" (from A Home Sweet Home Christmas ) and an interview with the band conducted with Jerry Houser, that originally appeared on The Millennium Archives compilation.     White Heart is the debut studio album by the Christian rock band White Heart , recorded in 1982 and released in the spring of 1983, originally on Myrrh/Word Records. It is the first and only album to feature Gaither Vocal Band vocalist Steve Green on lead vocals. Green would leave the band after the album's release saying that rock music was not his style vocally. He would go on to be a successful inspirational singer in the vein of Sandi Patty and release his first solo album in 1984. Patty sings co-lead vocals with lead guitarist Dann Huff on the track "Everyday" and Michael W. Smith played piano and co-wrote on the track "Black is White." The album is produced by members Huff and Billy Smiley with Chris Christian as executive producer. White Heart climbed to number 10 on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart. The band earned their first Grammy Award nomination in 1984 for Best Gospel Performance by a Duo or Group and was nominated for a Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. White Heart was reissued on CD jointly by Retroactive Records and Christian's record label Home Sweet Home Records on April 9, 2021, released as part of The Legend Series. The album was remastered and contains the full, uncut original of "Everyday" with the saxophone solo intact, a version of "Listen To The Lonely" that is missing the tape drag present on many of the prior CD versions, no tape dropouts on "Nothing Can Take This Love" that plagued previous versions, plus a bonus track featuring a remix of "Everyday" that first appeared on the 1987 Greatest Hits compilation. The CD booklet contains lyrics, photos and liner notes written by Christian himself and a trading card with White Heart on the front and information about the band and the album on the back. The song "He's Returning" featuring vocals by Green and Huff was one of their earliest hits. A music video was made for the track, but was made in 1985. In the video, members Mark Gersmehl and Scott Douglas (Green's replacement) were lip-syncing the solo parts by Huff and Green.     Just Sit Back is the fourth studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Chris Christian . It was released in July 1981 and it is his first album on his newly-formed Home Sweet Home Records label and, at the time, was distributed by Benson Records. Christian produced the album himself. Just Sit Back contains a duet with American Gospel singer and songwriter Andraé Crouch on the track "Nobody," which they both also co-wrote together. "Livin' For You" was the lead single and went Top 5 on the Christian radio charts. Christian covers Country singer Larry Gatlin's "Light at the End of the Darkness" and Christian singer - songwriter Jamie Owens-Collins co-wrote "Look How Far You've Come" with Christian.     With Your Love is the third studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Chris Christian , released in July 1979 by Myrrh/Word Records. The album was produced by Christian and Brown Bannister with all tracks arranged by Bergen White. Christian scored another Christian radio hit with the title track. Christian also recorded his version of "Praise the Lord," which was also recorded by The Imperials released on the same year, but became a hit for the group. Christian also recorded "Heed the Call," which he co-wrote with his wife Shanon Smith. The song was also recorded by The Imperials for their album of the same name . With Your Love was later reissued on CD on Christian's label Home Sweet Home Records. The album is not available for streaming or digital download purchasing. The tracks "With Your Love," "Praise the Lord," "Already Livin' in Heaven," "Fine Love" and "Pray Away" are available digitally on Christian's 1999 compilation album The Collection Vol. 1: 1976 - 1981 .     Chris Christian is the debut album by Christian singer - songwriter Chris Christian . Recorded in 1976, it was released in early 1977 by Myrrh/Word Records. Christian co-produced the album with his college friend Brown Bannister. While Christian was working on albums by Amy Grant and The Imperials , Christian was working on his own album, showcasing his vocal and musicianship skills. Christian was the first to record the Bannister-penned "Mountain Top," which Grant later recorded for her debut release . Christian's wife Shanon Smith wrote the track "Hallelujah."     Heed the Call is the 23rd studio album by the Christian music vocal group The Imperials , released in 1979 on DaySpring/Word Records. Heed the Call debuted and peaked at number 3 on Billboard magazine's new Top Inspirational Albums chart (renamed Top Christian Albums) on March 29, 1980. The group won their third Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance, Contemporary or Inspirational at the 22nd Grammy Awards and were named Group of the Year at the 11th GMA Dove Awards. The song "Praise the Lord" won Song of the Year the following year given to its writers Brown Bannister and Mike Hudson at the 12th GMA Dove Awards. CCM Magazine ranked "Praise the Lord" at number 67 in their 2006 book The 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music . "Oh Buddha" gave The Imperials their first number-one song and topped the charts in three formats: Contemporary, Inspirational and Southern Gospel. The album is produced by Chris Christian . Heed the Call was issued on two albums covers: the original rare album cover was with the pink mountains.
